Top 6 Things To Do Downtown

We’re located in the heart of New York City’s Financial District and we absolutely love it, but we understand how far that can seem to anyone in Brooklyn, Queens, The Bronx or even Staten Island. What could we possibly have to offer out here that you can't find in your own borough? So, we've listed six things you have to do while you are here. We hope you find this list helpful, as we find ourselves quite spoiled with all the things we have to do in our very own backyard.

 QC NY Spa

If you want our opinion, every trip downtown has to include a trip to the QC NY Spa at Governor's Island. With a reservation, you can take the ferry from the Battery Maritime Building, located at South 10 St, all the way to this spa on Governor's Island for a tailored massage. Whether you're unwinding in one of their relaxation rooms or soaking in the Manhattan Skyline, the QC NY Spa has over 20 wellness experiences to choose from. Get transported to a relaxing oasis with breathtaking views, spa pools, saunas, and more. Please, follow the link for more information on how to book your next wellness appointment.

 Oculus Beer Garden

On a nice day, we recommend the Oculus Beer Garden as one of our favorite places to relax and unwind. Just a 2-minute walk from our flagship store location, the Oculus Beer Garden is always your best bet for craft beer, wine, hard seltzer, and snacks. Sure, you might have a beer garden in your very own borough, but is it next to some of the most immense structures in NYC? We highly doubt this! Enjoy views of the Oculus and the One World Observatory from the Oculus Beer Garden over an excellent draft of some of the finest craft beer and a Bratwurst. Please follow the link to see more of their upcoming events nearby.

 One World Observatory

For an even bigger city picture, go to the One World Observatory on 117 West Street. Take the SkyPod elevator up 102 stories in only 47 seconds to enjoy 360-degrees of unrivaled views from the highest point in the city. Enjoy the Horizon Grid powered by 145 screens to highlight some of the most memorable moments throughout NYC's history, or enjoy a little fine dining from the restaurant on the 101st floor. With helpful tour ambassadors you will be sure to get the most out of your visit to the One World Observatory. Click here for more information on how to get tickets at the best price.

Eataly NYC Downtown & Millennium Downtown New York

For the most refined taste of Italy and panoramic views, we suggest to stop at either the Eataly NYC Downtown Italian restaurant at 101 Liberty St. or the Millennium Downtown New York Hotel at 55 Church St. Inimitable for the best in pizza, spaghetti, and wine, rediscover your favorite post-work aperitivo at Eataly NYC Downtown. With or without hotel reservations, stop in for a drink at the Millennium Downtown New York Hotel. Given that both are a stone's throw away from each other, the options are endless. Follow this link for more information on dining reservations or this link for more on hotel stays.

Marriott Downtown Residence Inn

For those of you coming from out of town and looking for the best place to stay, we highly recommend the New York Marriott Residence Inn. This is a must for those of you seeking the best rooms with superfluous views and a full bed and breakfast. Feel the vibrant streets of Lower Manhattan, with the visionary and enticing spirit that surrounds you. At the most optimal location in Lower Manhattan, the Marriott is close to an array of NYC landmarks, from the 9/11 Memorial to the iconic Statue of Liberty.
